Ten on Tuesday, the New Year edition.

Ten Intentions for the New Year. 10 on Tuesday

1.  Finish all UFOs. I have already started on this.

2.  Knit from stash as much as possible. Just like the past three years

3.  Knit myself another sweater. Yay!

4.  Exercise regularly — walking, either outside or on treadmill; back and knee and ankle exercises. This and the next one are gonna be challenging

5.  Lose at least 5% of body weight.

That's enough for me. Now for the rest of the county.

6.  Wholesome, healthy, affordable local food available at the supermarket.

7.  Universal health care.

8.  Adequate funding for basic social and public health programs, public protection, conservation, education, cultural institutions, and public transportation systems.

9.  Social justice.

10.  Whirled peas.

I knew it! You’re one of those dangerous socialist whackos! Who else would want to take care of people’s health and happiness! Happy New Year KmKat

  2. gayle says:

    Whirled peas, indeed.

  3. Bullwinkle says:

The first five have nothing in complexity on those last five! — Which, hopefully, will make weight loss attainable.
    You are ambitious, Woman 🙂

  4. Erika says:

I like the word “intentions”! I don’t remember if I blogged any resolutions last year… and I’m kinda scared to peek!

  5. tinebeest says:

I had to look a moment at nr 10, but I like peas 🙂

  6. elizabeth says:

I agree with Bullwinkle – the first five seem positively easy compared with the last five! I have no doubt you will see your intentions to fruition!

  7. tammy says:

Let me help you out a bit with those. You can combine #2 & #10 and get more bang for your buck:

  8. Cookie says:

    Great list!
I’d settle for equality and a cough syrup that doesn’t taste disgusting.

  9. Kym says:

    Excellent list. Most excellent! 🙂

  10. Heather says:

Great list! What kind of sweater are you thinking of?

  11. soxanne says:

Love the list. Love the fact that you thought to include all of humanity. Love my Pinko friends 🙂 Love peas.

  12. Betsy says:

Yours are remarkably similar to mine…(I was going to say “Ditto” but the origin of that phrase is this useage is offensive to me so I won’t :>)).
DH has lost more than 100 lbs in the last year and a half…because he made up his mind…he’s a good motivator…he absolutely swears by http://www.fitday.com and keeping a food diary…when he first started it he was scared by how much he actually ate…and how many calories he consumed.

  13. Chris says:

I like your intentions for the rest of the country. 🙂

  14. Carrie K says:

May all your dream come trough.
