wicked little buggers… What a trial w/ the photo! I would be hesitant to store things like you did (the fabric), because there is SO MUCH dirt and dust around here that anything stored horizontally like that gets dirty. You must have a cleaner house, eh?

    Oh, that’s frightening!!!

Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) the darn wool moths are much smaller, harder to see and catch. Right now we have a flurry of oak moths flopping around inside the house (we leave the doors open onto the decks for the cats to lay in the sun) They are quite entertaining for the cats. Great photo though!
I dreamed about butterflies last night, coincidentally, that there were really big tan butterflies massing together in huge plates on the sidewalks, cars and bushes. You could pick them up all together and carry them around.

LOL. My thought was: that’s not a wool moth. And it’s outside. What’s so scary?
And then I remembered the wool moth that did invade my place, 15 years ago. I saw a moth flitting from closet to drape to whatever and never quite caught him. And then the sun streamed in on a drape and I saw the eggs … I hauled everything to the truck and from there to the laundry mart. All at once. And huge drop off at the dry cleaners. (It was pre-stable stash, so it just all got crushed into the freezer.) … and yes, a moth is scary.
