Ten Eleven on Tuesday, the traveling tote bag edition.

I am going to assume Carole wants this tote bag to be our carryon, if flying, or our in-the-car-with-us, if driving. Here goes!

Ten Eleven Things I Take In A Travel Tote Bag.Ten on Tuesday

  1. Travel documents if needed, unless I have them all in electronic form.
  2. My current carry-along knitting project, typically a sock, hat, scarf, fingerless glove, or mitten, in other words, something small and portable.
  3. My current major knitting project as long as it is not too bulky or requires too many different balls of yarn.
  4. iPhone,  charger, and cable.
  5. iPad, ditto.
  6. iPad may have a book or three, depending on length of trip.
  7. Current book plus another (or more, depending on length of trip, size of carryon, weight of book(s)).
  8. Camera and charging cable.
  9. Daily meds, plus extras just in case.
  10. Migraine meds, just in case.
  11. Sunglasses.

The most delightful thing about this list? It does not contain any personal sanitary products, one of the advantages of having an early hysterectomy 🙂 My apologies if that was TMI.

Excellent list – I’m getting good ideas for an upcoming trip!

Also Small notebook and at least two pens. Small LED flashlight. Measuring tape (they come in handy). Umbrella if weather may be iffy.

  3. Jeanne says:

    Packaged hand and eyeglass wipes.

  4. k says:

Hydrox cookies and a thermos of coffee. Yes, there were roadtrips without Hydrox, but they were sadly lacking.
