FO Friday: yarnbombing the library.

One day last June I did this.

Sadly, the finished piece was about 18″ too short to cover the entire top rail of the bike rack. Lots of yarn left, maybe by next June it will be done.

Quote of the day: (Smokey when we got in the car yesterday)

“It’s not that cold — it’s 5˚ above.” (That’s Fahrenheit, for all you metric types.)

    Oh, Smokey. . .

  2. Becky says:

Once upon a time when we couldn’t figure out Celsius temperature in a place that had no Fahrenheit, we would just make it up by saying “I think it’s 14* in dog years.”

I spend a lot of time in the winter checking Ely’s weather. Makes me feel better. It was 18 when I went to bed last night, and 18 when I left for work this morning. Much better than Ely’s -5.

  4. Kat with a K says:

    Oh, Smokey indeed!
