Knitting: a handy hobby.

Smokey has a massager similar to this except that his has a motor in the shaft so that the tip of the crook vibrates. He has been using it on his knee in a sort of acupressure-ish way to relieve pain temporarily. But the curved part of his is metal, hence, hard and cold. He asked if I could make something to cover it.

Massager? My mental ‘WTF is that’ list didn’t have massager on it…

  2. Isn’t this a Dr. Seuss book… oh the things you will knit?

I have one of those, the non-motorized kind. But the instructions that came with it were kind of vague. Do you have any tips for applying pressure without straining arm muscles?

I love my theracanes (item pictured). They are the best for working on knots in the back, neck arms, wherever you have a spot that could use a little massage. Great after a long knitting session, especially if you’ve been hunching.

Knitting is so very handy-dandy that way . . .
