In the spring a young man’s swan’s fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love.
Last week I saw a single swan standing on the ice doing the neck stretch and retract. It must be spring!
I live in a little subdivision called “Swan Creek.” Not only do we have a creek with swans, we have small lakes with swans. We see/hear the swan mating “displays” all the time in the spring (sends the dogs right over the edge. . . ). Ahhhhh. Welcome, Spring!
Oh Spring! You really can’t be until the Swans are displaying! 🙂
