    I love the way the yarn tails for the dainty stripes are knitted in as you go along. I hardly ever do that but in this instance it would be much tidier and a lot easier to finish off.

    That really is an interesting way to randomize the stripes, though I wonder how much it could affect the knitting behavior of the person making the scarf. (Even if I were an orderly person, I’d be inclined to disrupt my knitting time in order not to end up with homogenous stripes…)
